STANDARD SELECTION
$3,000.00
These beautiful puppies are offered with Limited AKC Registration and are lovingly matched to families based on lifestyle and personality—making them wonderful companions, emotional support partners, or family protectors.
Though not intended for breeding or competition, they are healthy, happy, and full of potential to bring joy and connection into your home. They come with a contract requiring spay or neuter no earlier than 24 months, allowing full maturity for optimal development.
Early deposits receive priority in selecting the perfect match, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way. These puppies are placed with limited guarantees and a whole lot of heart.
PRIME SELECTION
$3,500.00
This special selection is for working homes and sport enthusiasts looking for top-potential puppies. These exceptional males and females are hand-picked through early evaluations for their structure, drive, and temperament.
They come with Limited AKC Registration and a contract requiring titling in a sport or working venue such as IGP, AKC/FCI Obedience, Tracking/Nose Work, or Barn Hunt.
Before any breeding is considered, they must pass hip and elbow evaluations and demonstrate outstanding quality. Upon meeting all requirements, their registration may be upgraded to Full AKC.
“Pick of the Litter” is matched to your goals and preferences, as noted in your Puppy Inquiry Form. Early deposits receive priority in choosing traits and personalities that align with your vision.
DIAMOND PLUS SELECTION
$4,500.00+ up
This elite selection features our top-tier puppies—either hand-selected from our trusted breeding partners in Europe or born from our highest-level pairings. These pups are bred for excellence in working roles and competitive sports, with superb anatomy, strong drive, and proven potential.
Imported puppies are pre-selected by Southernwind for quality and come from titled parents with certified SV hips and elbows. Due to shipping, customs, and import logistics, these exceptional pups are priced higher—but bring unmatched European lineage and potential.
We also occasionally offer older, professionally raised puppies with early training: housebreaking, leash work, sensorial and environmental enrichment, and structured socialization. These pups include personalized one-on-one training sessions to help new owners transition smoothly.
All puppies are placed with an Open AKC Registration Contract requiring an AKC or FCI performance title (CD, CDX, Utility, etc.) before breeding is permitted—ensuring quality continues with purpose.
At Southernwind, the health and happiness of our dogs always come first. Every dog in our program is cleared for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), and we only partner with elite stud dogs who meet the highest standards—carefully selected for their full health clearances and proven success in producing exceptional offspring, both in the U.S. and Europe.
With over 45 years of experience in breeding and judging—including credentials as an FCI Temperament Test Judge and All-Breed Judge—we are passionately dedicated full-time to the careful development of each German Shepherd puppy we raise.
Our puppies go home with everything you need for peace of mind: complete health records, birth certificates, vaccination and deworming logs, microchips, and a certified veterinary health certificate issued by a Florida-licensed vet. You’ll also receive a thoughtful educational package filled with helpful articles and videos on puppy development, behavior, and training—because we believe in empowering our Southernwind Families with knowledge and support.
We’re here for you, always. Our team is available 24/7 to answer any questions or assist with anything related to training, care, health, or behavior.
For those who want to continue learning, we offer educational seminars on puppy and young dog training. And while we understand that not every family is ready for the financial investment of a purpose-bred puppy, we wholeheartedly support adoption and encourage visiting your local shelter—there are many wonderful dogs waiting for loving homes.
Southernwind also offers a range of services including obedience training, personal protection training, puppy kindergarten, stud services, and expert K9 behavior counseling.
