VDSW-K9 "Meet and Greet"  Scheduled Visits

At Southernwind German Shepherds, we understand the excitement and curiosity that prospective puppy owners have about our German Shepherd puppies. While many inquire about visiting to meet our puppies before making a deposit or purchase decision, we must prioritize the safety and well-being of our puppies, as well as maintain the integrity of our breeding program.

Due to various factors, including the sheer volume of requests we receive daily, accommodating spontaneous visits is not feasible. It's important to note that each day, we often have up to 20 inquiries from individuals wishing to visit and interact with our German Shepherd puppies for sale.

To ensure the safety of our puppies and maintain the sanitary conditions of our home environment, we have implemented a strict visitation policy. We only welcome families who have placed a reservation deposit and are prepared to purchase a puppy on the same day. This approach minimizes the risk of introducing viruses or parasites into our breeding program.

While we understand the desire to see our puppies firsthand, we offer alternative ways for prospective buyers to learn about our breeding program and the quality of our puppies. This includes providing testimonials from satisfied families, online reviews, access to our YouTube channel,  photos and videos of our puppies, and subscription to our newsletter for updates on upcoming litters and special characteristics.

For those who are serious about purchasing a German Shepherd puppy and wish to proceed with a "Meet and Greet" visit, we offer scheduled appointments at a fee of $100 for a 45-minute session. During this time, visitors have the opportunity to interact with our available German Shepherd puppies and receive detailed educational information. It's important to note that this deposit does not reserve a specific puppy.

To maintain a safe and controlled environment during visits, we have established rules:

  - No other breeders can be visited on the same day to prevent the risk of cross-contamination.

• 
  - Visitors must wear clean clothes and shoes and sanitize their hands.

• 
  - The maximum number of visitors allowed for the Meet and Greet is three.

• 
  - Visits are only possible once our puppies have received their second set of vaccinations, with no exceptions.

• - The $100 fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the reservation deposit or purchase price if a puppy is bought on the same day. Otherwise, it covers our time and consultation.
